Entered into eternal life Saturday, July 17, 2010, at age 95; longtime resident of Mequon. Now reunited with the love of her life, best friend and beloved husband, Ernst V. Madritsch “Ernie,” along with her dear daughter Valerie L. Baldus; parents Jacob and Valeria (nee Krocka); sister Valerie (Clyde) Carter; brothers Edward (Ruth) and Robert. Survived by her loving son Robert of Mequon; grandchildren Jeff Baldus of Warsaw, Mo. and Beth (Bob) Minor of Carbondale, Colo.; great grandchildren Danielle and Nick Minor; son-in-law Ned Baldus; siblings Jack (Joan), Loraine Gillan and Dorothy (Jerry) Jaeger; and sister-in-law Rose Lancin; She is further survived by caring cousins, nieces and friends.

Tillie, the first of seven siblings, was born Nov. 25, 1914, and will be remembered as a 5’2” bundle of energy with a personality way beyond her stature. Always positive, always upbeat and always expecting the sun to come out even on the gloomiest of our overcast Wisconsin Winter days. Affable and able to strike up a conversation with just about anyone no matter whom they were. She and her smile will be missed, but her spirit will go on living in all those whose lives she touched….

In loving memory of Tillie, memorials may be made for pulmonary research to the Mayo Clinic, Dept. of Development, 200 First St. S.W., Rochester, MN 55905.
